Looking for Alaska

Author: John Green
Print Length: 242 pages
Published: May 31, 2012

Description:
Miles Halter is fascinated by famous last words - and tired of his safe, boring and rather lonely life at home. He leaves for boarding school filled with cautious optimism, to seek what the dying poet Francois Rabelais called the 'Great Perhaps', Much awaits Miles at Culver Creek, including Alaska Young. Clever, funny, screwed-up and dead sexy, Alaska will pull Miles into her labyrinth and catapult him into the Great Perhaps.

Review:
As with all John Green books at first I found it quite hard to get into as I feel the books drag on a little. Although I absolutely adore his books as they are all so realistic and never have any happy endings. The plot of this book was brilliant and shows how one persons life can so greatly affect another in such a short time. I loved the characters in the book especially Alaska! I definitely recommend you give it a go.
